When Traxxas engineers set out to build the XO-1, it had to look good and drive at over-the-top speed. To complement the aerodynamic design and put it to good use, they went for massive power. The XO-1 required a brushless system that could handle and deliver the necessary 6s LiPo power to destroy all speed limits. From the factory, the XO-1 puts out massive acceleration and true supercar performance that simply cannot be touched. The proven Mamba Monster system has been enhanced for higher output when used with 6S LiPo power. From its integrated capacitor bank to the proprietary software created just for XO-1, the Mamba Monster Extreme speed control represents the state-of-the-art in big-volt power delivery.

Traxxas Big Block Brushless Motor:
The ultimate brushless powerhouse! Custom tuned for the XO-1, the Traxxas Big Block motor features a finned, heat-dissipating can, oversized premium-quality bearings, sintered Neodymium magnets, and superior electromagnetic design. The Big Block brushless motor invites "cubic inches" to the party for massive acceleration and true supercar performance with the largest brushless motor ever offered in a Ready-To-Race model.

Traxxas Stability Management® (TSM):
Traxxas TSM gives you all the benefits modern electronic stabilization has to offer without intruding on your driving fun or introducing unexpected side effects that can be found on other systems such as drastically reduced turning radius, braking assistance that times out (quits), throttle restrictions, and an overall disconnected driving feel. Traxxas engineers developed superior tuning algorithms that run on high-speed, precision electronic components to create a system that works invisibly, in the background, without ever limiting your throttle. TSM can be fine tuned (or turned off) for different surfaces by simply adjusting the multi-function knob on the TQi transmitter, or by adjusting the slider in the Traxxas link app. The result is that you are driving faster, with more ease, and having more fun. Real-Time Telemetry:
Traxxas Link collects and records real-time telemetry data as you drive. The Traxxas Link dashboard comes to life showing you speed, battery voltage, RPM, and temperature. The application automatically detects and recognizes Traxxas Link sensors for easy set up and configuration. The dashboard is fully customizable with either dial or digital readout gauges. Up to nine gauges can be displayed at once. Set threshold warnings and log maximums, minimums, or averages. Use the recording function to document your dashboard view, with sound, so that you can keep your eyes on your driving and not miss a single apex. If you forget to record, simply touch Instant Replay anytime to capture the previous minute of fun and unexpected triumphs. The recordings can be named, saved, and shared with others.

Intuitive Android, iPhone and iPod touch Interface:
Traxxas Link makes it easy to learn, understand, and access the powerful tuning options built into every Traxxas TQi radio system. Control your Drive Effects settings such as steering and throttle sensitivity; steering percentage; braking strength; and throttle trim by simply touching and dragging the sliders on the screen, or enabling the Multi-Function knob on the transmitter. Everything happens live, on-the-fly, giving you instant feedback on your changes.

Speed-Rated Belted Tires:
Specially developed for high-speed use, XO-1's slick tires are the first to be rated for 100+mph. Zero-stretch belting reinforces the soft-compound rubber, and molded inserts support the tread. Black-chrome Split-Spoke wheels set off the 17mm blue-anodized nuts that secure them, and the wheels extra-wide tire mounting area assures 100mph reliability.

Scalable Battery Compartments:
XO-1 can accommodate a variety of battery configurations and sizes with its unique, scalable battery compartments and quick-release hold-downs. The compartments' rear bulkhead can be positioned for 135mm and 155mm pack lengths. The hold-downs can be flipped to hold 23mm and 25mm pack heights. With the optional expansion clips, 38mm to 43mm tall packs can be installed. Removing and installing batteries is easy; just flex the latch open to release the pack, and snap the hold down into the latch to lock it into place.
