BL-2s 3300 kV brushless motor:
The sensorless BL-2s 3300 kV motor delivers the all-day speed and torque you expect from brushless technology, without the high price tag. With no brushes to wear out, the BL-2s is long-lasting and virtually maintenance free. Low-friction ball bearings and an integrated cooling fan open the door to all-day fun.

Precision 2.4 GHz Control:
Switch on the power and drive! That's all there is to it with the TQ 2.4 GHz radio system. There are no frequencies to manage, so the focus is on having fun. Race multiple vehicles side by side without interference. The TQ's advanced programming provides long-range control with smooth, glitch-free performance. The TQ's ergonomic design is comfortable for all day driving with an internal antenna that is impervious to damage.

3-channel Micro Receiver with Fail-Safe Security:
The TQ 2.4 GHz micro receiver delivers fast reaction times with reliable glitch-free performance. An integrated LINK button makes binding fast and easy with a convenient two-color LED status light. In the event of signal loss due to an accidental transmitter switch-off or depleted batteries, the receiver will automatically return the throttle to neutral and hold the last commanded steering position. The fail-safe programming is conveniently built-in and does not need to be set or activated.

Sealed Watertight Receiver Box:
Traxxas gives you the freedom to drive where you want and when you want, regardless of the weather. A custom blue O-ring seals the receiver box to protect the receiver from water. The antenna and servo wires route neatly through a special water-tight seal. An aluminum antenna crimp nut looks good and holds the antenna tube securely in place.

Extreme Heavy Duty Suspension Components:
Slash comes outfitted with factory-installed Extreme Heavy Duty suspension components for ultimate strength and durability. The rear axle carriers, C-hubs, and steering blocks are beefed up with extra material and stronger construction to withstand even the most brutal punishment.

Heavy Duty Suspension Arms:
Molded from our toughest composite material, Slash’s heavy duty suspension arms provide just the right amount of flex to resist breaking. These suspension arms stand up to even the most punishing drivers for non-stop wheel-to-wheel racing.

Adjustable Battery Hold Down:
Batteries come in different shapes and sizes and you'll need to choose one to complete your truck. That’s why Slash uses an adjustable battery hold-down to accommodate different batteries. Choose the reliable power and ease of our Power Cell NiMH batteries or go for the tire-scorching performance and massive runtime of our mighty 2-cell LiPo battery packs. Slash’s extended battery tray allows you to position the batteries forward or backward for front/rear weight bias tuning. An optional battery hold down kit is available for use with taller oversized batteries.

Chassis Nerf Bars and Reinforced Body Mounts:
Integrated chassis nerf bars offer side body support for door to door racing action. Tough body mounts incorporate reinforced washers to support the short course truck body during big-air jumps and high-speed runs.

Scale Front and Rear Bumpers:
Engineered to handle the abuse of bumper to bumper bashing, the scale tube-style bumpers absorb brutal impacts while looking the part of a true short course race truck.

BFGoodrich Mud Terrain T/A Tires:
Slash wears satin-finish 5-spoke wheels with pre-glued BFGoodrich® Mud Terrain T/A® tires. The tires deliver the perfect balance of forward traction and side bite on asphalt, dirt, and any other surface you throw at them. Performance tuned foam inserts help keep the truck firmly planted through the most extreme power-sliding turns and on the most demanding off-road terrain.

Adjustable Steel Turnbuckles:
Slash’s heavy-duty steel turnbuckles resist impacts and allow for camber and toe tuning. Adjust your truck’s suspension settings to fine tune handing agility and high-speed stability. Slash makes RC racing easy for beginners, while offering the advanced suspension settings that seasoned racers demand.

Slash Extreme Heavy Duty Driveshafts:
Slash uses larger diameter high-performance telescoping driveshafts designed for increased strength and articulation. Traxxas U-joint driveshafts allow for maximum suspension movement resulting in longer travel and tighter turning.

Long-Wheelbase Chassis:
Short course racing means banging fenders and Slash’s tough composite chassis takes brutal punishment in stride. The long 13.2” wheelbase increases stability and features over 3.5 inches of center ground clearance to avoid high-centering. The chassis also features a special transponder mount under the front shock tower for competition races.

Metal Gear Magnum 272 Transmission:
The Magnum 272™ transmission features all metal gears riding on ultra-smooth sealed ball bearings. This tough and efficient design transfers power from the motor to the wheels through durable telescoping U-joint driveshafts for maximum articulation. Want to upgrade to Velineon® brushless power? Don’t worry, the Magnum transmission is already built to handle the additional power.

Steel-Composite Planetary Gear Differential:
Slash's composite planetary gear differential utilizes a steel ring gear with a nylon housing for long life. Hardened steel internal gears deliver maximum strength during rigorous off-road bashing. The differential requires virtually no maintenance and its efficient design transfers maximum tire-shredding torque to the wheels.

Torque-Control Slipper Clutch:
The Torque-Control slipper clutch absorbs driveline shocks to protect the drivetrain while putting maximum power to the ground. Semi-metallic friction pads and finned aluminum alloy pressure plates dissipate heat and provide consistent traction control, run after run. The clutch’s innovative design allows you to replace spur gears without altering the slipper adjustment.

Hex Hardware:
As you assemble your truck, you'll appreciate the high-grade metric hex-drive hardware used throughout. Hex-drive screws provide a more positive and secure connection than other fasteners. The black-oxide coating provides a rust resistant high-tech look and feel.

Rubber-Sealed Ball Bearings:
Precision rubber-sealed bearings offer the ultimate in super low-friction performance and maximum protection in dusty environments. They are used in all exposed locations on the truck and they're virtually maintenance free.

Oil-Filled Ultra Shocks:
Slash's oil-filled Ultra Shocks utilize X-ring technology for a perfect seal and super-smooth performance. They are fully tunable with a wide range of oils, springs, and pistons. Features include pressure bladders for air/oil separation and spring clips to precisely change the ride height and spring pre-load.

Progressive Rate Powder Coated White Springs:
Race-tuned progressive rate springs provide the best of both worlds. Over small bumps, the springs compress easily to provide a smooth and controlled ride. When the jumps get big, the springs firm up to prevent bottoming out and loss of control. The durable white powder coated finish keeps them looking sharp even after hours of racing.

Bellcrank Steering:
Slash’s high-performance bellcrank steering system delivers sharp handling and increased steering precision. This innovative design minimizes bump steer to increase cornering stability.

Clipless Body Mounting:
Locking tabs hold the body tightly to the chassis with an audible snap to signal they’re secure. The self-energizing locking tabs stay locked until you release them. This hidden latching system maximizes convenience and scale realism by removing traditional body clips which would interrupt Slash’s clean lines.
