Titan® 12-Turn 550 Motor:
The Rustler 4X4's powerful Titan 12T 550 motor is made for dirt-roosting torque, lightning-quick acceleration, big-air jumps, and just about any other 4-wheel fun that demands real horsepower. The Titan's oversize armature features 12 turns of pure copper wire for big torque and increased power-handling. The integrated cooling fan pulls cool air through the motor to keep temperatures down for more fun behind the wheel. The Titan 12T requires very little maintenance and provides consistent torque and high speeds run-after-run.

XL-5 Waterproof Electronic Speed Control:
The waterproof XL-5 Electronic Speed Control handles the elements while smoothly supplying power to the motor. The XL-5 features three throttle profiles, low voltage detection, Thermal Shutdown Protection, 4-7 cell NiMH and 2-cell LiPo compatibility, and built-in BEC. High frequency operation combined with ultra-low resistance make the XL-5 an efficient and ultra-smooth fully proportional speed control. The exclusive and patented Training Mode™ reduces the overall power output of the XL-5 by 50%, making it easier for young or new drivers to develop their control skills before unleashing full-power.

Modular Simplicity:
Rustler 4X4's modular chassis allows the entire front section to be removed with just 5 screws, and the rear assembly with just 4 screws. In less than a minute using a power screwdriver, you have full access for easy service and adjustment.

Precision 2.4GHz Control:
Switch on the power and drive! That's all there is to it with the TQ™ 2.4GHz radio system. There are no frequencies to manage, so the focus is on having fun. Race multiple vehicles side by side without interference. The TQ's advanced programming provides long-range control with smooth, glitch-free performance. The TQ's ergonomic design is comfortable for all day driving with an internal antenna that is impervious to damage.

Traxxas 4-amp DC Peak Detecting Fast Charger:
Rustler 4X4 includes a 4-amp peak detecting charger for quick, convenient, hassle-free charging. The charger uses a 12-Volt DC power outlet for charging charging in the field. The brilliant LED provides charging status while the battery charges. The peak-detecting charger is optimized for charging Traxxas Power Cell NiMH battery packs. Just plug the included Power Cell battery in for a perfect charge, run after run.

LED Lighting:
Rustler 4X4's LED lighting extends your fun long after dark. Four brilliant white lights illuminate the path ahead while dual red LEDs let you track Rustler's progress from behind. The lights are protected behind rugged bumpers and the entire system is waterproof for worry-free performance.

3-channel Micro Receiver with Fail-Safe Security:
The TQ 2.4GHz micro receiver uses an integrated LINK button for fast and easy binding. A two-color LED indicates power-on and bind status for fool-proof control and convenience. In the event of signal loss, the receiver will automatically return the throttle to neutral and hold the last commanded steering position. The Fail Safe programming is conveniently built-in and does not need to be set or activated.

New Low-CG Chassis:
Rustler 4X4 rides on a new low-CG chassis that has been lengthened 20 mm for extra stability. The low center of gravity and wide track width helps the Rustler 4X4 stay planted in the turns for thrilling high speed fun.

2.8” Black Wheels with Talon EXT Tires:
The Rustler’s large 2.8” black wheels provide terrain-conquering ground clearance and a commanding presence. Aggressive Talon™ EXT tires dig into dirt and grass for outstanding 4X4 traction. The EXT’s tire compound provides extra durability on pavement with a unique design that resists “ballooning” at high speeds.

Torque-Control™ Slipper Clutch:
Rustler 4X4's patented slipper clutch uses special semi-metallic friction material and finned aluminum alloy pressure plates to dissipate heat and provide consistent traction control. The slipper clutch adjusts easily without disassembly or removal, and the unique 3-pad design is proven rugged in Traxxas' most powerful vehicles.

Functional Rear Wing:
The functional rear wing reduces drag while still providing valuable downforce for high speed stability. The wing mounts directly to the internal body reinforcements for lasting durability.

Clipless ProGraphix® Body:
Rustler 4X4 uses a rugged all-new clipless body latching system for secure mounting and easy one-handed removal. The latching system incorporates an internal body cage that greatly strengthens the body for long life. The body comes pre-painted and cut with decals already applied.
