A prerunner must be built strong enough to tackle the toughest courses, while still being manageable on the street. The LaTrax Desert Prerunner™ packs these race-bred features into a convenient, take-anywhere, 1/18 scale size.

Like full-size prerunners, the LaTrax Prerunner is built to be fast and nimble while being extremely durable and able to withstand the rigors of all-terrain racing action. Equipped with a powerful motor, independent suspension, and 4-wheel drive, the Prerunner is Ready-To-Race® right out of the box. The all-weather electronics defeat the elements—driving through mud, snow, and water. Oil-filled shocks soak up the bumps and jumps, and provide smooth suspension movement over any terrain.

Front and Rear Bumpers:
The LaTrax Prerunner features front and rear bumpers behind the body shell to provide support and absorb impacts. Prerunner's steep front and rear approach angles allow it to drive up ramps and over curbs.

Four-Wheel Drive:
Four-wheel drive provides maximum traction and control on a wide range of off-road driving surfaces. An aluminum center driveshaft carries the power to the front and rear differentials.

All-Metal Gear Differentials:
The rugged gear differentials use a well-proven design to balance power delivery out to the wheels for stability and control. The precisely engineered metal gears deliver rugged, efficient, and reliable performance.

Fully Independent Suspension:
