Introducing the Reedy Sonic 540-SP5 Spec Brushless Motor, engineered to deliver the renowned power and performance that Reedy motors are known for. The SP5 series has been meticulously designed with innovative features to optimize performance.

The heart of the SP5 motor lies in its specially designed stator, crafted in-house to maximize torque and power output while maintaining high RPMs. High-quality copper magnet wire, carefully wound to minimize resistance, is treated with heat transfer epoxy to enhance heat dissipation and reduce internal temperatures, resulting in consistent performance throughout a race. An oversized collector ring and thick solder tabs further minimize resistance and power loss.

The rotor, equipped with a high-strength magnet, is engineered within dimensional rules to provide sustained power output without fading. Supported by precision stainless steel ball bearings, the rotor can handle high RPM loads with efficiency and reliability. The motor also includes a top-notch sensor board for additional performance benefits.

Externally, the SP5 features a lightweight two-piece CNC machined aluminum housing with an aluminum endcap and adjustable timing for fine-tuning to suit specific needs. This lightweight design not only enhances vehicle handling but also offers flexibility in chassis tuning.
