Policar 1/32 Lotus 72D "John Player Special" #8, Emerson Fittipaldi

Appearing for the first time in their iconic black and gold John Player Special sponsored livery in 1972 Team Lotus would bring out their venerable Type 72 for its third season of competition. Piloted by David Walker, Reine Wisell and Emmerson Fittipaldi the 72 would secure its second Constructors Championship in three years by 10 points over defending champion Tyrrell. The 72 would also give Team Lotus its fifth "double" as Fittipaldi secured the Drivers Championship by a whopping 16 points.
