We like making small things, well, BIG! The new Tetra 1:24 w/portal axles packs a phenomenal number of features making the it unparalleled to even many 1:10 scale platforms. Our thought and research was the market thrives on scale detail and durability so why not give them an abundance of it, right from the start.
Portal Axles coupled with Metal Worm Gears
The heart of the Tetra 1/24 are the portal axles. Portal axles provide an abundance amount of ground clearance and give a scale detail that is found more common in 1/10 rigs but a first for a 1/24 platform. In creating the portals, the desire was to have a consistent feel ascending and descending all types of terrain. This is where the metal worm gear drive system gives the same exact driving experience going up or down different terrain. You control the speed 100% with the throttle going downhill just like you would uphill versus the brake / motor magnets doing the work on your descents.

• Realistic looking scale body style: The X Series boasts a number of scale details including full size spare tire, windshield wiper blades, roof mounted LED bar , molded front and rear light buckets, door handles, rock rails, grill insert and reverse cowl induction on the hood.
• Portal Axles: Find peace in portals with an insance amount of axle clearance, A whopping 24.5mm a clearance on the pumpkin and 29.5mm on the axle tubes make the Tetra best in class for axle clearance.
• Metal Worm Gears: The ultimate in throttle control both up sand and downhill. No more relying on brake setting and motor magnets to descend hills and obstacles. Worm gears allow you drive down a hill and up, over and down obstacles using the throttle trigger.
• 60 Turn 180 Oversized Motor: Smooth in power and unbelievable in torque, the 60T 180 motor is oversized to give you the confidence to climb and drive through just about anything thrown your way.
• Aluminum alloy shock, Oil-filled type, Threaded Shock Collar: Alumunum / threaded shock bodies provide the perfect blend of scale realism and added spring adjustabilty.
• Weighted Wheels: We've added some weight up to lower the center of gravity while increasing overall climbing and side-hilling capability.
• U-Factor Beadlock Wheels: 3 bolt beadlock design provides quick and easy tire changes.
• Remote Operated Lights with a Twist: Left and right blinkers based on steering input, reverse lights based on brake input (X series only), and 4 stages of light settings: off, on, slow flash and strobe, right form the 3rd channel on the transmitter.
• Magnetic and Hinged Body Mounts: Never need or lose a body clip again. The magnetic front body mounts complete with rear hinge make accessing the battery and anything else capable with the flick of a finger.
• 1.0mm Thick Polycarbonate Body: Polycarbonoate is nearly unbreakable and rarely used on such a small platform. We've left nothing on the table when it comes to confidence in the Tetra 1/24.
• Electrified Magnetic Body Mounts : In addition to magnetic body mounts, the power to the lights from the ESC travels through the magnetic mounts. The magnets effectively become the plug/unplug feature of the lights from the chassis to the body. Complete freedom to remove the battery without wires getting in the way and no need to remove the wires ever again from the ESC if you're prepping on your vehicle.
• "Sipe" 55mm x 20mm Tires: A balance of detail and aggressiveness, the Sipe tread design has a do it all attitude as you saunter the trails ahead.

Light up the Night Sky:
The Tetra is also ready to light up the trail. The X series lighting system includes 8 LED’s – 4 front facing LED’s and 4 rear LED’s. The system is controlled from the transmitter that includes four distinct light settings – off, solid, slow flash and strobe. We didn’t stop there. The brake input on the transmitter activates the white reverse lights while turning left and right activate the blinkers. The Tetra 1/24 is ready to get the party started both day and night.

To ready itself for all the detail, the Tetra 1/24 utilizes the same transmission, motor, driveshafts and several other parts from the Tetra 1/18. The oversized 180 motor, driveshafts and transmission brings a durability confidence that rivals anything else in the 1/24 scale category.

Scale Detail:
Aluminum threaded shock bodies, beadlock wheel, black oxide c-channel metal chassis rails, a bunch of molded accessories on the X Series body including a full spare are all apart of the new 1/24th package. It’s small, it’s capable, it’s feature packed and it’s fun!
