The tire's construction has been adjusted to provide a more sturdy feel when driving in a straight line. The sidewall has been made slightly taller to offer better cushioning for any bumps or ruts encountered. The inner webbing has been redesigned to form an "X" pattern that overlaps to provide extra support when driving at high speeds. The tread layout now consists of square pins surrounding the center structure, with the outer edges of the pins angled for a smoother driving experience. The lugs have also been spread in a staggered pattern to cover the rest of the tire's surface. Overall, these improvements make the Double Dee's V2 a versatile choice for different track conditions.
