COVID-19 Precautions (Updated 6/22/20)
Here at Larry's Performance R/C's, we take the health and safety of our patrons and our employees very seriously. We are taking the necessary precautions regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) in order to better serve and protect the people of this community. The in-store and online shop have been impacted by all of this and we are doing out best to meet your needs, however, there are some measures we must take to ensure that we are doing out part in this entire global situation. We will be actively monitoring updates and will do our best to relay them to you, but in the meantime, lease be sure to stay safe and make smart decisions.
Stay Home Stay Safe (Phase 5): How It Affects Business Moving Forward
We always strive to provide the best possible service to our customers. The online transactions and in store sales are
still being affected. We are offering a curbside pickup option for a few hours during the day, please expect some
Shipping products out will also be affected. Without having our usual employees in the store to process and package the online orders in a timely fashion, the shipping of these orders may be delayed. If you do make an online purchase, please understand that we are doing out best to get your purchase out to you. Please be patient and do not hesitate to contact us with any other concerns you may have.
New: The Track Is Now Open
We are excited to announce that the track has been opened back up to the public. Although the track is accessible again,
we are required to put a cap on the amount of people within that area. We are limiting the track area to 25% capacity.
What this means is that we can have 12 people in the track area at a time. There will be no spectators allowed. Passes for the track will be available on a first come first serve basis. Depending on demand, there may be a 2 hour time limit for track use per patron.
New: The Showroom Is Open For Appointments Only
The shop is now able to have customers within the store, limited to appointments only. This is going to include repair appointments, although please understand that with a smaller staff available and a high demand, there may be longer delays than normal. Online Store Policies (Free Shipping and In-Store Pickup)
We still encourage you to have your order shipped, as delivery is the most efficient way to stay safe. However,
due to the high demand, we are extending our services to now include curbside pickup for online orders.
This will be offered at limited hours. Curbside in-store pickup will be available Monday to Friday from 10am-5pm.
Please be aware of this when choosing the "Pickup in store" option in checkout.
As a reminder, we also offer FREE SHIPPING to Michigan, Ohio, and Illinois on orders over $50. This is something that we have always implemented so that we can extend our R/C reach to more people everyday.
