COVID-19 Precautions (Updated 1/8/21)
Here at Larry's Performance R/C's, we take the health and safety of our patrons and our employees very seriously. We are taking the necessary precautions regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) in order to better serve and protect the people of this community. The in-store and online shop have been impacted by all of this and we are doing out best to meet your needs, however, there are some measures we must take to ensure that we are doing out part in this entire global situation. We will be actively monitoring updates and will do our best to relay them to you, but in the meantime, be sure to stay safe and make smart decisions.
Business During Updated Order
We always strive to provide the best possible service to our customers. The online transactions and in-store sales are
still being affected. We are offering a curbside pickup option during business hours, but please expect some delays.
Shipping products out is still being affected. Without having our usual full staff to process and package the online orders in a timely fashion, the shipping of these orders may be delayed. If you do make an online purchase, please understand that we are doing out best to get your purchase out to you. We ask that you remain patient and do not hesitate to contact us with any other concerns you may have.
Updated: The Track Is Open Again
Finally, some good news! The track is once again open for use. This however, comes with some restrictions and rules. There is a
15 person capacity limit at a time for track use. We will be doing our best to accommodate everyone. It will be a first come
first serve basis, with the option of calling ahead and reserving a time slot ahead. Head over to the
contact us page and call to reserve your time.
The cost will be $5 for a 2 hour session. Wristbands will be issued during track use. The scheduled sessions will have a few minutes between sessions to allow customers a chance to leave and to set up before the next session begins.
Plans to begin club racing will likely start again beginning January 12th. We are doing our best to satisfy the needs of our customers as well as protecting everyone and abiding by the orders in place.
Updated: The Showroom Is Open
The shop is still able to have customers within the store. We do ask that you enter with a face mask/covering on, and wear them at all times. Repair appointments are still being accepted, although please understand that with a smaller staff available and a high demand, there may be longer delays than normal. Online Store Policies (Free Shipping and In-Store Pickup)
We still encourage you to have your order shipped, as delivery is the most efficient way to stay safe. However,
due to the high demand, we are extending our services to now include curbside pickup for online orders.
Curbside pickup will be available Monday to Friday from 10am-5pm.
Please be aware of this when choosing the "Pickup in store" option in checkout.
As a reminder, we also offer FREE SHIPPING to Michigan, Ohio, and Illinois on orders over $50. This is something that we have always implemented so that we can extend our R/C reach to more people everyday.
